Calculator of scores to predict the presence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation
ECHO-AF scores for predicting the presence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation
The ECHO-AF scores were developed to predict the presence of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (pAF)
using non-invasive medical history and echocardiographic parameters (Schmidt et al., Clin Res Cardiol 2020;
Kallenberger et al., PLoS One 2016). The model scores might be applied as screening test to
initiate further diagnostic investigations for validating the presence of pAF. In case, the
scores exceed the defined threshold values, a patient might be selected for testing the presence
of pAF by long-term ECG monitoring.

To calculate the 4-parameter score from patient data, please replace the exemplary values.
